The preeminent and prestigious yacht brand in the world, Sunseeker, has entrusted us with providing comprehensive marketing services for their operations in the Bulgarian market. Over the course of the upcoming year, we have planned to create a strategy for promoting Sunseeker in Bulgaria, while also refining the steps necessary for the brand’s continued growth and development over time.
Founded in 1969 by the late Robert Braithwaite, the British yacht builder Sunseeker has completed a total of 95 motor yachts over 30 meters in length at their shipyard based in Poole over the last decade. When Sunseeker first began operations half a century ago, the demand was for something entirely different from what it is today, namely small and exceptionally fast boats. Gradually, however, this changed to encompass long-range cruising, high technological capabilities, and improvements in luxurious design, while the desire for high speeds remained. With the aid of a deal with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, work began to modernize materials, engineering, and weight reduction in order to once again produce a series of smaller, faster boats and create a “family” of such boats over the next several years.
In the marketing strategy we are developing for Sunseeker, we rely on fundamental steps in local brand positioning, which we know well. To extract maximum benefit and minimize risks for the success of such an atypical product, we carefully examine the real situation in Bulgaria through a situational market analysis, closely consulting with current owners of Sunseeker and competitive yacht brands.
Our team, together with Sunseeker’s team, started the year promisingly for the brand, under the motto “ALLOW YOURSELF MODERN CLASSICISM” at the yacht exhibition in Düsseldorf in January, where we achieved the first sales for 2020.
